Participation cards

Who need a participation card?
Each player and leader who should participate in a match, also as coach, should have any of the participation cards we offer.

Why should teams that don't order food, accomodation nor disco have participation cards?
Tournaments that don't request participation cards for all participants usually have a considerably higher application fee for teams that don't order participation cards. Our application fee is the same for all teams. The idea behind this is that the total cost for the team is based on the number of participants. A team with just about 8-9 players thus don't have to pay as much as a team with 14 players. We consider this most fair.

How do I order participation cards?
Log in to your team account and select "Order participation cards and special food". 
If you have selected accommodation in schools, please make preliminary reservation on the number of participation cards as soon as possible after your application. This facilitates our planning of the accommodations.
The reservations may be altered until 1:st of March without any extra cost.
Note that transportation by the tournament buses is ordered as an addition to the cards.

When shoud the participation cards be ordered and payed?
Ordering and payment of the participation cards should be made not later than 1:st of March.
If ordered or payed later than this a higher fee is charged.

Can we change the number of participation cards?
Yes, the number of participation cards may be changed (up or down) until 1:st of March. Single cards may, in case of availability be ordered later but to a slightly higher price. The reservation function is closed 1:st of March but you can contact the organizer via phone, mail through the team account or mail to info@irstablixten.se.

What if we need to cancel a participation card after 1:st of March?
For participation cards canceled 2-20 March a cancellation fee is kept from the refund. Refer to Participation fees for information regarding for the fee. For cancellations after 20:th of March the total fee is kept. Refund will be made after the tournament.

Is the cancellation fee kept also upon sickness or injury?
No, the total fee is refunded provided a medical certificate is provided to the organizer. For participation cards B (hotel) we might however have to keep hotels cancellation fee.

What if we need to cancel our participation in the tournament?
The registration is binding and the registration fee is thus not refunded in case of cancellation.  
Teams that cancels after the team groups are published on irstablixten.se (1-2 weeks after the registration is closed) is, in addition to payed registration fee, also charged a cancellation fee of 1000 SEK. After 1:st of March the cancellation fee is 2000 SEK.
Teams that leave during the tournament are charged a fee of 1000 SEK per unplayed match, and minimum 2000 SEK.

In most tournaments bus transportation is included in the participation cards. Why is this an additional fee in Irstablixten?  
We have chosen this solution mainly for two reasons:
1) It facilitates our planning of the bus services if we know which teams that will actually utilize the service. Some accommodations may thus be "non bus" accommodations.
2) The income from the bus additional fees does not cover our costs for the buses. These costs are thus partly covered by other incomes. Without the additional fee all types of participation cards would have a higher fee and we consider it fair that teams having arranged their own transportation don't have to partly pay the bus costs. We have tried to adapt the bus fee to the fees charged by the local bus company  if utilized each tournament day.

Who can read and edit our application?

The person specified as contact person for the application may see and edit the application. When the contact person has entered leaders for the teams also these may read and edit the content for respective team. Generally both contact persons and leaders get all mails sent by the organizer.

I can't login to my account. What to do?
Open irstablixten.se and select "Edit your application" Enter the e-mail address you used when registering your application or was specified as a leader. Then push "Forgotten password?"

Match schedule

When does Irstablixten start 2026?
All classes, except U09, have the first match at 17.00 Friday 27:th of March. Samtliga klasser har sin första match kl 17.00 fredag 27 mars. The last match is held on Sunday 29:th of March. Exact time for last match in the different classes depends on the number of teams in the class but the last match of the tournament usually ends not later than 18.30.
Long distance teams may, by mail to spelprogram@irstablixten.se, communicate wisheson late start on Friday, or even on Saturday morning. We can however not guarantee to fulfill all wishes.

When are the team groups and match schedule published?
We intend to publish the team groups and match schedule 1-2 weeks after the register function is closed. I.e. 7-14 February.

Exemptions

How do I apply for exemptions?
Exemption for an older player is applied when the player list is reported via the team account at irstablixten.se. When our program notices that an older player is reported you are asked to enter a motivation for the exemption. The organizer gets a notice and will handle the exemption application.  

Which players can get an exemption?
All exemptions granted by the teams local federation is valid in Irstablixten. However, an application should anyhow be made as described above.
In addition to these exemptions we might also grant exemptions under some other circumstances. Questions regarding exemptions are mailed to dispens@irstablixten.se.

Accomodation and food

When and how do we get information on assigned accomodation?
Information regarding the accomodation in schools is published in your team account at least one week in advance of the tournament. Teams that select accomodation at hotel or in Rocklunda village (chalets) get the information immediately at reservation.

Are all teams within a club accomodated at the same school?
We know this is a strong wish Vi from many clubs. Our intention is thus definitely to fulfill these wishes and generally we succeed but  unfortunately   we can't guarantee this in all cases.

Should we check in when we arrive to the tournament?
We have an online check in service which is opened one week in advance. Teams that check in online can arrive directly to their accomodation or the match arena. If you need help with the check in, please visit the tournament office in Expandia Arena.

How do I check in online?
We send a mail about one week in advance when the check in service is opened.The mail includes a link to the check in service and the service may also be reached from the team account.
Prerequisites for checking in online are that the player list is reported and that all fees are payed. By checking in the team confirms that it will show up for the first match and that no changes will be made in the number of participation cards.

How do the digital participation cards work?
The digital participation cards has a QR-code that is unique for each team. The cards may be shown either from the mobile or be printed in advance. Our system gets information from the database when the QR-code is scanned.
As each team has a unique QR-code the team may choose that a leader holds one single card for the whole team or you can distribute one card to each participant.

Where do we eat?
Breakfast is served on respective acomodation. For teams staying in the chalets in Rocklunda village breakfast is not included but may be ordered as an addition directly from the chalets owner.
Lunch and dinner are for all teams with participation cards A, B or C served at the tournament restaurant in ABB Nord.

Can we buy single meal tickets?
Yes, single meal tickets will be provided in the kiosk in Expandia Arena.

We have participants that need special food. How do we order that?
Ordering of special food is made via the team account latest on the 13:th of March. After this date we can not guarantee to satisfy all needs.
We can not either guarantee to satisfy all types of special food requirements.
Note that none of our meals contain nuts or pork and there is thus no need to order food free from those ingrediants.

What's in the menu during the tournament?
The menu and list of ingredients will be published later.

Disco

When is the disco?
The disco is open 19.00 - 22.00 with a singer performance around 20.00.

Who has admittance to the disco?
All players and leaders holding participation card A-E,  V or U9 have admittance to the disco.

Which singer performs?
To be announced later.
